The modify price level options allow the user to restrict the items that have the level pricing updated. This section will detail each of the available options.

 

 

Update zero prices ONLY

Enable this option to only update the level prices of items that have a 0.00 selling price for the specified price level.

 

•If this option or the Update zero prices also option is not enabled, the level prices of items that have a 0.00 selling price will not be updated.

•Items that have a cost of 0.00 will not be updated, even if this option is enabled.

•If prices are being updated using the Change by dollar amount method, this option will only be available when selecting the Increase from Cost option.

•If prices are being updated using the Change by percentage method, this option will only be available when selecting the Change Markup Percentage to option.

 

Update zero prices also

Enable this option to include items where the specified level price equals 0.00, when performing the update.

 

•If this option or the Update zero prices ONLY option is not enabled, the level prices of items that have a 0.00 selling price will not be updated.

•Items that have level pricing based on a percentage markup will not be updated unless the Override existing price setup option is enabled.

•If prices are being updated using the Change by dollar amount method, this option will only be available when selecting the Increase from Cost option.

 

Override existing price setup

Enable this option to alter the level pricing setup of items where the current level pricing does not match the desired change by parameters.

 

•When changing by dollar amount, if an item has level pricing that is based on a percentage over cost, the level price will not be updated, unless this option is enabled.

•When changing by percentage, and selecting the Change Markup Percentage to option, items that have level pricing that is based on a dollar amount over cost, will not be updated, unless this option is enabled.

•If prices are being updated using the Change by dollar amount method, this option will only be available when selecting the Changing by ($) option.

•If prices are being updated using the Change by percentage method, this option will only be available when selecting the Change Markup Percentage to option.
