This option will recalculate existing "floating" prices by adding the specified amount to the appropriate cost value.

 

•Prices based on a Markup Percentage will not be affected unless the Override existing price setup option is enabled.

•Selecting this option, adjusts the float value for the item to the amount specified in the Change by ($) field.

 

 

Consider the following item, with a current floating value of $3.00 over a cost of $18.00, resulting in a level price value of $21.00.

 

•If the Change by ($) was set to $2.00, the new float for the item would become $2.00 and the new level price would become $20.00.

•If the Change by ($) was set to -$1.00, the new float for the item would become $-1.00 and the new level price would become $17.00.
