The Printers Tab is used for assigning the default printer for various documents that can be printed from the entrée system. This section will cover the printer assignment and configuration process.

 

The default printers and their corresponding configuration are saved in the Windows registry of the local machine. This means that printers must be configured on every workstation on the entrée network.

 

The registry entry is saved as part of the "Current User" key, so the printers will need to be setup and configured for each Windows login, of the workstation, that may be used while accessing the entrée system.

 

 

Setting Printers tab Copy Settings button options:

Use menu path: System ribbon menu >  System Preferences  > Printers tab > Copy Settings button.

 

1. Define the settings of an undefined printer using the settings from another printer, such as defining the settings for the "Loading Sheet" printer by copying the settings of the "Invoice" printer.

2. Copy the settings from one printer to ALL other printers.

3. Copy the settings from one printer to only the UNDEFINED printers.
