Another feature of the Ré4 report system is the ability to export a report to a delimited text file. This makes getting data out of the entrée system and into applications like Microsoft Excel and Access easier than ever.

Important Information

Any machine running the Task Execution Scheduler (TEA) must have Microsoft Excel installed to generate Excel report files.

As of V4.2 entrée comma delimited files will only be saved with a CSV extension.

Tab delimited files will save as an EDF which can opened in excel.

Files saved with the TXT extension will be used for any other delimiter.

Saving a Delimited File

1.Select the File option from the Report Destination section of the Output page.
