The setting of this option determines if the on hand weight of the item will be tracked.

 

•Enable this option if the on hand weight should be reduced every time the item is sold and increased when the item is purchased.

 

•If System Option 26 and the track by weight option are both enabled, you will be able to enter the individual catchweights for the item. However, when the invoice prints, only the total weight will be shown. This has been provided for distributors that would like entrée to automatically add the individual weights, but don't want their customers to see them.

 

•If System Option 52 and the track by weight option are both enabled, you will only be allowed to enter the total weight for the line item.
