NECS recommends entering the constant weight of all applicable items regardless of whether or not they are sold on a per pound basis. By doing so the total weight of purchase orders, invoices, and even the total weight on a truck can be properly calculated. Weight information can also be printed many reports and some invoice types will print the total weight of the order at the bottom of the invoice.
