Fax History is used to maintain your current fax records.

From the Fax History page entrée FaxMan send attempts can be checked for completion or failure.

 

To run the Fax History Report:

1. Go to the Add-Ons ribbon menu.

 

2. Click the entrée.FAX drop down menu arrow.

 

 

3. Select Fax History Report.

 

The Fax History page allows access to maintain the Fax Dialing Directory the directory of fax numbers for your business including customers, vendors and other business associates.

 

 

Data Selection

Show jobs that are:

Drop down list options: Pending, In Process, Completed, Failed, Completed and Failed.

 

Filter by Date:

Enter a date range to fine tune a search for a specific fax entry.

 

Fax History Columns

Click one of the column headers to sort the Fax History entries by that field.

 

Date – date of the fax

Time – time of the fax attempt

To – who the fax was sent to

Phone Number – fax number dialed

Result – the fax attempt result values: Pending, In Process, Completed, Failed

 

Buttons

Fax Dialing Directory

This feature maintains the directory of fax numbers for your business contacts using fax.  

 

Refresh Data

When you change Filter by dates or the Show Jobs selection click Refresh to retrieve the data for your new choices.

 

Resend Entry

Select and resend any fax entry from the fax history.

 

Delete Entry

Select and delete any fax entry from the fax history.

 

Purge Data

The Fax History Purge will permanently remove old fax data from the system.

 

 Purge data default ending date is the last day of the month before last which would keep all faxes in the current month as well as the previous month. For instance, running it Oct. 3rd (default date value) will produce a default "ending date" of Aug 31st which would keep all faxes from September and October. Change the ending date to meet the needs of your business.
