This field is used to automatically add freight charges to every sale, based on the total weight purchased.

 

•entrée will multiply the total net weight of the invoice by the value in this field to determine the freight charges.

 

•If an item is sold by the pound the total net weight is the billing weight.

 

•If an item is not sold by the pound entrée will attempt to determine the total net weight using the formula

Quantity Shipped * Item Constant Weight

 

•If the constant weight is not defined for the item and the item is not sold by the pound no freight charges will be calculated for the item.
