Heading Code

The Heading Code field is used to designate the Heading Code used to assign the company to be used for the invoice heading for the customer.

Heading Codes for the customer will be matched with a Misc. Code defined in the System Preferences Company Print/Email Headings Tab to identify the correct company for the invoice header.

As of v4.0.42 the Customer File Misc Code field will no longer affect the selection of company for the invoice heading. Any Misc Codes you already have assigned to a customer will be copied into the new Heading Code field as part of the version update so you will not have to re-enter these codes.

Lot Hold Customer No.

Use the Lot Hold Customer No. Search tool to find the customer number to use for the lot hold.

The Lot Hold Customer feature extends the Hold Lot for Customer feature in Inventory Lots the same way the Special Price Customer Number extends special pricing.

When qualifying available lots the Hold Customer will be validated against the customer buying the product (existing behavior) and the Lot Hold Customer No, defined here.

If the lot is reserved for either customer it will be considered valid for sale.

The Inventory File Lots Tab is where the Hold Customer is defined in the grid along with the Hold Date, and Hold Price.
