Theme Engine
Integrated the entrée “Theme Engine”, which changes the appearance of all of the
windows and dialogs in the entrée system. They enhance the look and readability
of the entrée system and are set on a per user account basis from the Personal
Settings tab of System Preferences. This allows each user to set their personal
favorite. To the left are samples of the “Silver” and “Golden Dragon” themes.
Over 25 themes are included with the default being “New Age Blue”.

Security Management System
Implemented the new Security Management System (SMS). The SMS replaces the version
2 Password Maintenance utility and allows for access rights to be granted using
"Group" membership, greatly saving time when defining password access. All data
is encrypted and includes an enhanced user interface. The new SMS loads quicker
than version 2 and user accounts now store the user’s full name, which may be
printed on many reports. All users must now have a “Username” and “Password”
to gain access.

Contact Manager
Another new feature of version 3 is the Contact Manager. This allows you to have
as many contacts as required for each of your customers and vendors. In addition,
it allows for miscellaneous contacts to be created. It is accessible from the main
menu of entrée, as well as other key areas such as invoicing and customer account
inquiry. Besides names and addresses, each contact can have an unlimited amount of
phone numbers, email addresses and notes. The team at NECS is positive that this
new feature will help you manage your business better as well as help employees be
more productive.

Email Engine
Added a centralized email engine allowing most documents to be emailed from the
entrée system. This has been one of the most dramatic new features of version 3.
Everything from invoices, statements, purchase orders and reports can be emailed.
Also the ability to batch email documents such as Price Lists are supported. The
email is typically sent in the PDF format. The email engine is configured on the
"Email Setup" tab of System Preferences. The email engine also includes a "Return
Receipt" feature so that you can be notified when the recipient of your email
has received it.
