General information for the group account

The general tab information of the group properties dialog is used to modify the information that was entered when the group account was created.
Group name This field will display the group name assigned to the group account that is being edited.
•To change the group name for the account, click the Edit button. This will place the cursor inside of the group name field and allow you to change the value. Group names can be up to 15 characters in length.
•When the group name is changed, the new name will be checked to ensure a duplicate group does not already exist.
Description Optionally enter up to 50 characters to describe the group account in this field.

Account is disabled
Check this option to disable the group account. If a group account is disabled, the option settings for the group will not be merged with any users that are members of the group.
