Before you can add a Salesperson to the system you must create a new user account for each salesperson in the Security Management System (SMS).

 

To access SMS use menu path: System ribbon menu > Security Management...

1.Click the Add button.

2. Enter a unique new number into the Salesperson Number field and press the Tab key.  

Each of your salespeople must have a corresponding Salesperson Number. This number is made up of up to two digits. It actually is "alphanumeric" which means it can be composed of both numbers and letters. If this is your first time defining a salesperson file, it's important to give some thought to your numbering sequence before you start entering salespeople.  

 

NECS encourages you to give your numbers a logical sequence, so that you may identify the salesperson by simply looking at the number. Many entrée customers use the salesperson's initials for their salesperson number.

 

3.Now enter the rest of the employee information for the new Salesperson or Broker. Activate Manager or Credit Manager if the Credit Hold feature is being used and the person has this responsibility.  

4.Once your are done click the Apply button.

5.Click OK.
