The weight received field allows users to either enter the actual total weight of the product received or view the total weight of the product received depending on how the item is configured.

 

•Users will enter the total weight received in this field if...

 

- the item's unit of measure is set to LB..

- the item has been defined as a catchweight item.

 

•In all other instances entrée will calculate the weight received value using the formula

Quantity Received * Constant Weight (as defined in the inventory file).

 

•Users will not be allowed to modify the weight received value under these circumstances.
