Accessing the Help System & System Guide

The entrée V4 SQL System Guide is distributed in electronic format and is available within the entrée Help System, from our website as a PDF file to download to your computer or as a web-based interactive knowledgebase.

entrée users can view topics in the Help System (the system guide) by using the F1 key.

Users can also view a search-able Help System (the system guide) by going to the System ribbon > Help section > click the Contents button to open the System Guide.

The V4 System Guide KnowledgeBase

The search-able and keyword rich knowledgebase for entrée version 4 SQL can be accessed in the www.necs.com website. It is recommended that this be your primary resource as a system guide. To access it follow these steps:

 

1.  In your browser go to the www.necs.com website and click the Support drop down menu.

2.  Click and use the Customer Login to enter the secure area of the website. In this area release upgrades are posted along with links to other support services and documentation.

3.  In the menu on the left click the KnowledgeBase option. On this web page you can access to the knowledge bases for many of our software products.

4.  Click the entrée V4 KnowledgeBase link. Use the print button and print any topic you would like a hard copy of locally from the knowledgebase.

 

The entrée V4 SQL System Guide PDF

An Adobe PDF is provided for your convenience in our website. The entrée V4 SQL System Guide is over 1,500 pages in length and printing the entire guide is not recommended.

 

Chances are not every member of your staff will require training on all of the various capabilities of entrée, and the PDF format will allow you to pick and choose appropriate topics to print locally and distribute to various employees.

5.  Look for the entrée V4 SQL System Guide link in the list displayed on the right. Click the link and a new window will open in the browser for the guide. From here you can choose to browse or download the guide.

 

Although it is possible to print from within the entrée Help system, due to the poor formatting results this is also not recommended. NECS suggests that the entrée V4 KnowledgeBase be your primary resource for printing sections of the guide.
