This option will increase the existing markup percentage value by the specified percentage.

 

•Prices based on a dollar amount over cost will not be affected when using this option.

•Selecting this option will simply add the amount specified in this field to the existing markup % for the price level.

 

Consider the following item, with a markup percentage value of 15.0% over a cost of $12.00, resulting in a level price value of $13.80.

 

•If the Increase markup % was set to 20.0, the new markup % for the item would become 35.0% and the new level price would become $16.20.

 

•If the Increase markup % was set to -10.0%, new markup % for the item would become 5.0% and the new level price would become $12.60.
