A great feature of our system is the ability to assign an image to an item, class, brand and customer. Images of the products that are being sold can now be viewed while invoicing or displayed on a price list report that is sent to one of your customers.

The imaging system in entrée  stores the actual images within database files. Images can be assigned to customers, brands and items can also be uploaded to the entrée.NET internet ordering system. Images files can be JPG, PNG or GIF. The system does not support the display of animated GIF images.

Using a digital camera you can take pictures of the products in your warehouse that can be imported into the entrée system.

Although images of any resolution are supported, it is recommended to use 640x480 resolution to save hard disk space and the amount of time it takes to upload the images to the entrée.NET internet ordering system.

While in Inventory File Maintenance the Brand and Class images can only be exported to a file. To manage these images you must use the Brand and Class options in the Inventory ribbon menu.

Along the top right side of the screen are the image preview areas for item, brand and class.

When you see the Image Not Define message inside this area you must right-click in the area to see the options for finding & assigning images in the system.

Image Right-Click menu options will be discussed in the next sections of this chapter.
