entrée can be configured to automatically add an upcharge to items that are pulled out of a master case item.

On the piece item(s), enter the dollar amount that should be added to the selling price of this item when it is sold as a broken case item.

The broken case upcharge only works on piece items with a unit of measure of PC., HALF, or QRTR.

If the broken item is NOT Priced by Weight, then the formula to calculate the selling price is:

oLevel Price of the Case Item / Pieces Per Case + Broken Case Upcharge defined on the piece Item.

If the broken item is Priced by Weight, then the formula to calculate the selling price is:

oLevel Price of the Case item + Broken Case Upcharge defined on the piece item.

Broken Case Upcharge currently does NOT work with LB. or any of the other unit of measures.

When an item has a broken case upcharge defined, the selling price is calculated by dividing the sell price of the case item by the Pieces per Case it contains to get the per unit price. The upcharge is then added to the per unit price, which becomes the final selling price to the customer.
