Because some companies that use the entrée system deal with imported products or ship overseas, you can optionally enter catchweights using kilograms instead of pounds.

 

•To activate this feature you must first enable system option 59 Convert "Kilos" to "Pounds".

 

This option is for distributors dealing with imported products where the metric system is in place and kilograms are used instead of pounds. If this option is checked then when catch weights are entered the system will ask if you are entering lbs. or kilos. If you respond kilos, the system will convert the kilos to lbs. using the 2.205 factor. When the invoice is printed, the weights will show properly as kilos or pounds.

 

• System users will be prompted by a dialog to select Pounds or Kilograms each time they attempt to enter weights for an item.
