If the customer has any pending credit memos in their account the Apply Credit Memo button will be enabled.

 

 

1.Click the Apply Credit Memo button to open the Select Credit Memo dialog.

2.In the Select Credit Memo dialog click and select the credit memo to apply it to the customer.

3.Click the OK button.

4.The Credit Amount will then be loaded into the Receipt Amount field of the cash receipts window.

5.Click Apply to update the customer receipts.

Click the Cancel button to return to the cash receipts window without loading a credit memo.

If a credit memo should need to be cleared from a customers account, apply the credit memo as a Write-off or a Bad Debt.

When credit memos are applied to an account, a check number is not required.
