Item Number

Select this option to update a single item or a group of items based on part of the item number.

Updating a single item

1.	Select the Item Number option.

2.	Enter the desired item number in the Item Number field and press the Enter key. If the item number is not know click the search button to invoke the Inventory Search screen.

Updating a group of items

1.	Enable the Perform "wildcard" search option.

2.	Select the Item Number option.

3.	Enter the wildcard search value in the Item Number field and press the Enter key.

4.	Select the desired item to update from the Item Listing dialog.

•The Cost/Price Update dialog will now be opened for the selected item. If the selected item has any PC., LB., QRTR, or HALF items that are linked to it, they will be listed as well in the Cost/Price Update dialog.

If the "Piece Item Number" value is blank on a given "CASE" item the program will actively look for a "PC." item in the Cost/Price Update utility.
