Every comment must have a corresponding comment ID. This ID number is made up of up to 6 digits. It actually is "alphanumeric" which means it can be composed of both numbers and letters. If this is your first time defining a comment file, it's important to give some thought to your numbering sequence before you start entering comments.  

 

NECS encourages you to give the comment ID a logical sequence, so that it may be identified by simply looking at the ID.
