If this option is enabled, entrée will update the physical movement file with the on hand quantities and weights as of the last day of the period.

 

•This feature is disabled by default.

•Another benefit is the ability to print a inventory value report as of the period ending date, without having to do it exactly on the last day of the period. This can be accomplished by generating a Physical Movement report, with the style set to Month End.

•Due to the nature of non-stock items, they will not have an entry generated even if this option is enabled.

•Items that are tracked by lot are also not posted to the movements file, because movement information is contained in the lot information file already. The Lot History report can be generated for reporting on these transactions.
