The customer miscellaneous code is used as a means of grouping customers together. Up to 2 characters may be entered in this field and may contain any combination of characters and numbers, but special characters such as spaces, commas, and dashes should not be used.

 

•Many reports allow for filtering by customer miscellaneous code as well as optionally print, sort by, and/or group by customer miscellaneous code.

 

•Statements may optionally be printed by customer miscellaneous code.

 

Some entrée customers use the miscellaneous code as a way of generating weekly or monthly statements. This could be done by using a W code for weekly or an M code for monthly.
